Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Completes Chemotherapy for Cancer
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has announced that she has finished chemotherapy for cancer. In a video message released on Twitter, the 42-year-old Duchess expressed her relief and gratitude for the support she has received during her treatment.
“Words cannot describe how relieved I am to finally have finished chemotherapy,” Kate said in the video message, which features footage of her spending time with Prince William and their three children. “I am now focused on doing all I can to stay cancer-free. I have a long way to go before I make a full recovery.”
The Duchess of Cambridge underwent abdominal surgery in January and publicly announced her cancer diagnosis in March. In June, she attended her first official royal event since the operation, marking a significant step in her recovery. Although she has only resumed some official duties since then, the Duchess is eager to make more public appearances in the future.
