Mastroeni Adjusts Lineup
RSL coach Pablo Mastroeni made two changes to the starting lineup following last week’s 3-1 victory against San Diego FC. sam Junqua replaced defender Brayan Vera, who was sidelined due to injury. Justen Glad returned to the lineup in place of the suspended Bode Hidalgo.
Two players from the RSL Academy, Justen Glad and Zavier Gozo, were in the starting eleven. Gozo, 18, made his second MLS start and has played over 90 minutes in each of the last two games.

Vancouver capitalized on a counterattack in the 20th minute after an RSL corner kick. Jayden Nelson broke through the defense and scored the game’s first goal. Despite creating opportunities, Real Salt Lake entered halftime trailing by a goal.
Second-half Substitutions and Drama
At the start of the second half, Mastroeni substituted William Agada, recently acquired from Sporting KC, in an effort to boost the attack.
