Body Found in Search for Missing Wife of Rugby Legend Scott Hastings

A tragic discovery has been made in the search for Jenny Hastings, the 60-year-old wife of Scottish rugby legend Scott Hastings, who went missing while swimming in the Firth of Forth in Edinburgh on Tuesday afternoon.

Jenny, who had been open about her struggles with mental health issues for years, was swimming with her family when she disappeared. A massive search operation was launched, involving boats and helicopters, but was suspended on Wednesday.

On Saturday, at approximately 3:20 pm, a body was found in the Hound Point area of South Queensferry. Although formal identification has not been made, Jenny’s family has been notified. The police have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the discovery.
