Ruslan KD on Encouraging Shifts in Modern Culture

Christian creator Ruslan KD has reported a significant cultural shift toward faith and spiritual seeking in the United States, noting a drastic uptick in interest in the Gospel following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Speaking during his Bless God Summit, Ruslan KD stated that there is currently a widespread hunger for things that are deeper and a search for meaningful spiritual formation. He described this trend as a desire for people to walk in the truest sense of reality.

This shift in public mentality has manifested in tangible growth for some religious institutions. Ruslan KD noted that his own church has more than doubled in size since April 2025, describing the increase as a noticeable bump that followed the death of Kirk.

Ruslan KD compared the current atmosphere to the period immediately following the September 11 attacks. He observed that both eras were characterized by a specific clarity that seemed to have came over people, making them more curious and interested in faith.

Institutional Skepticism

While noting the growth in faith, Ruslan KD also identified a contradictory trend of hyper, hyper, hyper skepticism of all institutions.

He attributed this erosion of public trust to the events and communications surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, he pointed to shifting claims regarding the use of masks and the initial promise that the pandemic curve would be flattened within two weeks as factors that led to widespread distrust when those outcomes did not materialize.
