Russia Condemns Israeli Strikes in Syria, Citing Security Concerns
Moscow – Russia has sharply criticized Israel’s ongoing airstrikes in Syria, arguing that the attacks do little to stabilize the war-torn nation. Kremlin officials emphasized their commitment to maintaining contact with Syria’s new leadership,citing the presence of two Russian military bases in the country.
“Guaranteeing the security of our installations is of paramount importance and a top priority,” a Kremlin spokesperson stated.
Israel, simultaneously occurring, continues its campaign to degrade Syrian President Bashar Assad’s military capabilities, targeting air defense systems, radar installations, and weapons depots to prevent them from falling into the hands of extremist groups.
