French automaker Renault has confirmed preliminary discussions with Ukraine’s defense ministry regarding the potential establishment of drone production facilities within Ukraine. The drones would be used by both Ukrainian and french armed forces. However, Renault emphasized that no definitive decision has been reached.
Renault, in a statement to Agence France-Presse, indicated that while contact has been made and exchanges have occurred, further clarification is needed from the ministry before any commitment is made. The potential partnership aims to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities amid ongoing conflict.
