Russian Federation Blames Ukraine for GTS Sudzha Shelling

Report: Gas Transmission System in‌ Kursk Region​ Attacked

Reports indicate‌ an attack on the “Suzha” gas transmission system (gas metering station) in the Kursk ⁤region.

The Russian Ministry ⁢of Defense previously stated that on‌ March 28, at approximately 10:20 a.m.,⁣ Ukrainian forces allegedly struck the Suda gas-measuring station using HIMARS, ⁣resulting in a significant fire and considerable damage to the⁢ energy facility.

However,⁣ sources point out that russian forces do not control the Suda gas transportation system.

Situation in the Kursk Region

Ukrainian defense forces are ⁤reportedly continuing operations in‍ the Kursk‍ region.

Recent enemy‍ activity ⁢includes:

  • 22 air‍ strikes, ⁤deploying 25 guided aviation ⁣bombs.
  • 382 shellings, with 26 originating‍ from reactive systems of‍ salvo fire.

Ukrainian military⁢ forces reportedly‍ halted 18 assault actions by opposing forces.

The “Suzha”‌ gas measuring station is located approximately 600 meters (about 1,969 feet)⁢ from ‌the Ukrainian border,‍ near the corresponding checkpoint.From the⁤ Kursk region,the gas ⁤pipeline extends into the Sumy region and continues towards Uzhgorod.
