A passenger train derailed in western Russia’s Bryansk region on Saturday, resulting in at least seven deaths and 30 hospitalizations. The train derailment occurred in Vygonichskyi, near the Ukrainian border, after a bridge collapsed onto the tracks, according too officials.
Russian Railways attributed the incident to ”illegal interference” that caused the bridge’s span to collapse. Rosavtodor, Russia’s federal road transportation agency, confirmed the bridge spanned the railway.State news agencies reported the locomotive driver was among those killed in the Russia train derailment.
