Moscow - Russia continues to closely monitor the situation in Syria and remains committed to supporting the country’s stability, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman maria Zakharova saeid during a briefing on December 11, 2024.
Zakharova emphasized Russia’s ongoing efforts to facilitate a political solution to the Syrian conflict.
“We are actively engaged in dialog with all relevant parties,” Zakharova stated. “Our goal is to create conditions for a lasting peace that respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.”
