Ruth Langsford Divorce: Eamonn Holmes Split News

Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford is reportedly being sought after by book publishers following the end of her nearly 30-year relationship with fellow broadcaster Eamonn Holmes. According to reports, publishers are battling for the 65-year-old to sign a deal for the release of a potential memoir with tips for her fans.

Sources suggested the ITV panellist signed up for a “tell-all” book about her divorce, but her pals debunked these claims, suggesting the move would be out of character for Ruth. A source via the Mirror said: “There are offers on the table for her to write everything from a self-help book to a novel with several publishers.”

“Nothing is agreed or signed just yet, but at some point Ruth is likely to become an author in the not too distant future.

“She is taking her time and thinking things through but she is far too classy to be airing her dirty laundry in public and the divorce will not be the main subject of any book she writes.”

The insider added: “She is moving on with her life after Eamonn and won’t want to drag up things from the past.”

After the separation was announced last year, the mum-of-one took a break from Loose Women and has barely addressed the break-up since her return to screens.

Instead, Ruth was welcomed back with a roar of applause from the audience and simply said: “It’s very nice to be back with you all.”

Eamonn addressed the split during a 2024 episode of his GB News breakfast show and spoke on behalf of himself and Ruth.

He said: “Just before we move on we’d just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.”

Eamonn has since moved on and gone public with his romance with Katie Alexander, 43, as they have been spotted on holiday together.
