“Our message to those 0.1pc of passengers is simple; please comply with our generous bag rules or you will be charged at check-in or at the gate,” the airline stated. “For the 99.9% of our passengers who comply with our rules we say thank you and keep flying as you have nothing to worry about.”
Recent Updates to Personal Bag allowance
Adding to the clarity, Ryanair recently announced an enhancement to its free personal bag allowance. Passengers can now bring a bag measuring up to 40 x 30 x 20cm on board, an increase from the previous 40 x 25 x 20cm dimensions. The measurements for the 10kg carry-on bag remain unchanged at 55 x 40 x 20cm.
