Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Returns to Tamil TV with New Talent

Zee Tamil has launched the fifth season of Sa Re ga Ma Pa Seniors, its popular singing competition, after the finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. The new season of the talent show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors, features aspiring singers from nearly 35 cities and towns across Tamil Nadu. Twelve contestants were selected during the audition week.
One highlight of the audition episodes was actress Devayani’s daughter, Iniya Rajakumaran, whose performance earned unanimous praise from the judges.They were surprised to see Devayani present with her daughter after the blindfold reveal.
“I want my daughter to move forward in the contest based on her own efforts. This stage is not something that comes easily. It has created many winners, and I am proud that she begins her journey here,” said Ms. Devayani.
Veteran actor T. Rajendar appeared as a special judge during the audition round, adding his signature energy to the show. The contestants will be mentored by playback singers Vijay Prakash, Srinivas, Shweta Mohan, and Karthik. sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m.
What’s next
Startup Singam, another show on Vijay TV and Jio Hotstar, will premiere its second season in November. The show will feature 75 curated startups across 26 episodes. The first season facilitated investment commitments worth ₹55 crore and supported 39 startups. Startup Singam Season 2 aims to catalyze fundraising and business acceleration for regional entrepreneurs, focusing on sectors like SaaS, Deeptech, D2C, Agritech, Healthtech, and Impact Ventures.
