Del Mar, CA – Sacred Wish, ridden by Hall of fame jockey John Velazquez, stormed to victory in the Grade I $300,000 matriarch Stakes at Del Mar Racetrack on Sunday, delivering a thrilling finish for the eager crowd.

The four-year-old filly, trained by Graham Motion, showcased her impressive speed and stamina, overtaking the frontrunners in the final stretch to secure the win by a neck.
