Tan Cang Saigon Launches Worker’s Month, Safety Campaign
Tan Cang Saigon has initiated its annual worker’s Month and Occupational Safety and Health Behavioral Month, emphasizing enhanced risk identification and workplace safety measures.The 2025 theme for Worker’s Month is “Vietnamese workers lead to entering a new era.” The event underscores the institution’s commitment to worker well-being, rights protection, and the creation of secure and healthy work environments.
Speaking at the launch, Colonel Nguyen Tan Galm stressed the importance of robust awareness campaigns across all levels, involving commanders and labor unions. He called for heightened compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, along with accelerated adoption of digital technologies to improve safety protocols. Key initiatives include providing support to workers facing hardship due to workplace accidents, traffic incidents, or illness.
The campaign aims to foster unity and innovation among employees by providing opportunities for skills growth and career advancement. Executives and employees are encouraged to take a proactive role in military and defense production, and business operations. Workers are also urged to develop innovative solutions and technologies that enhance the working surroundings, boost productivity, and ensure production safety.
Following the launch, leaders visited production sites at the Kartrai Repair Site of the magazine Technology Service Co., Ltd. A container firefighting presentation was also held at the Cartrai Terminal Cargo.
On the same day, company executives visited and provided support to employees undergoing treatment for illnesses or injuries.
