Running back Cam Akers is determined to make the most of his fresh start with the New Orleans Saints. After joining the team, Akers emphasized his commitment to seizing every possibility and making a significant impact.
“I’m coming out and having my head on right and attacking these opportunities,” Akers said.
Akers, drafted by the Los angeles Rams with the 52nd pick in 2020 out of Florida State, quickly became a valuable asset, contributing both as a runner and receiver. Despite missing the majority of the 2021 season due to a torn Achilles tendon, he bounced back in 2022, playing a key role in the Rams’ Super Bowl victory.
