Akers, drafted by the Los angeles Rams with the 52nd pick ⁣in 2020 out⁤ of Florida State, quickly became a valuable asset, contributing both as a runner and‍ receiver. Despite missing the⁢ majority of the 2021 season due to a torn Achilles tendon, he bounced ⁢back in 2022, playing a key role in⁣ the⁤ Rams’ Super Bowl ‍victory.
