Saka also moved closer to breaking the record for most assists in a Premier League season, which stands at 20 held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.

In addition to his assists, Saka made history by being the first Arsenal player to score and assist in three consecutive matches since Fabregas in 2007. In the previous games, Saka scored one goal and assisted another against Nottingham Forest, then scored and set up two in a UEFA Champions League win over Sporting.

This season, Saka has been involved in 15 goals in the Premier League, with five goals and 10 assists. He trails Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who has 16 goal involvements, but missed an opportunity to equalize when he set up Martin Odegaard for a penalty.
