Liverpool Reds manager Arne Schlott has responded to speculation surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future at the club, following a recent social media post by the Egyptian striker.
Salah’s comments came after he scored the winning goal in Liverpool’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Brighton at Anfield last weekend.
In his Instagram post, Salah stated, “Top of the standings is where this club deserves to be. Every team won the game, but only one team will be champions in the final chapter. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget the feeling of scoring a goal at Anfield.”
Schlott downplayed the significance of Salah’s post, saying, “You interpret things in ways other people might not. I don’t look at the players’ Instagrams. I just talk to them. You can’t do that, so that’s the advantage I have.”
“Mo is doing very well at the moment. As long as he’s been at Liverpool, he’s always done a good job. Including again this season,” Schlott added.
