Salesforce is updating its pricing tiers and packaging for Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service, bundling AI agents, analytics, Slack integrations, security features, and support into higher-tier subscriptions while raising prices on two core options, according to a Salesforce blog post. The changes arrive a year after the company rebranded its legacy Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms, with the top three editions now offering larger allocations of Flex Credits to encourage broader enterprise deployment.
Agentforce Pricing Structure and Tier Changes
Under the updated lineup, the Core edition replaces the former Enterprise tier, increasing in price from $175 to $195 per user per month while including 500,000 Flex Credits, according to Salesforce. The Advanced edition now costs $395 per user per month with 1 million credits, superseding the $350-per-month Unlimited edition. Meanwhile, the Max edition replaces the previous Agentforce 1 tier, retaining its $550-per-month fee but increasing its credit allocation from 1 million to 2.75 million Flex Credits.
Salesforce noted that the entry-level Starter and Pro Suite tiers remain unchanged in features and price, although the company has hinted at renaming the Pro Suite to Professional edition. Existing Agentforce 1 customers can upgrade to the new Max tier at no additional cost, and future Max editions for Sales and Service will incorporate an allocation for Headless 360.
Consolidated Capabilities in Sales and Service Tiers
The revised editions absorb several capabilities that previously required separate purchases or add-on licenses. In Agentforce Sales, the Core tier now bundles Momentum, Slack Business+, and Tableau Next, while the Advanced tier introduces Sales Programs, the Premier Success Plan, and expanded security controls. The Max tier incorporates Agentforce for Sales, Agentforce Coworker, Salesforce Spiff, Sales Planning, Sales Programs, Salesforce Maps, Slack Enterprise+, and additional Tableau Next functions. Previously, tools like Sales Programs required add-on purchases and Tableau Next required a separate Tableau+ subscription.
For Agentforce Service, the Core tier adds case management, a self-service Help Center, Slack Business+, and Slackbot. The Advanced tier includes the Agentforce Help Agent, Premier Success Plan, full sandbox, Backup & Recover, and Data Detect, according to Salesforce. The Max tier provides the Service Rep Assistant, Workforce Engagement, Quality Management, IT Service, unmetered Agentforce Coworker access, and a library of pre-built service agent templates.
Flex Credits, Consumption Models, and Adoption Strategy
Salesforce utilizes Flex Credits as the primary consumption currency for Agentforce, with standard actions costing 20 credits (valued at $0.10) and voice actions requiring 30 credits, according to Jitendra Zaa’s coverage of the 2026 credit model. Customers can also select an alternative billing model priced at $2 per conversation for multi-action dialogs.
While Salesforce asserts that the updated bundles deliver between 50% and 70% greater value than their predecessors, industry analysts warn that financial visibility could suffer. Manoj Chandra Jha, principal analyst at Nord-IQ Research, stated that bundling disparate features reduces the line-item visibility chief information officers rely on, complicating financial forecasting as organizations consume their allocated credits. Pareekh Jain, principal analyst at Pareekh Consulting, added that enterprises must track actual feature utilization because theoretical value disappears if bundled tools or credits go unused.
Analysts view the restructuring as a strategic move to accelerate Agentforce adoption across Salesforce’s customer base. Jha observed that by folding security, analytics, and AI agents directly into every tier, Salesforce aims to address enterprise data readiness hurdles before prospects raise them, helping drive expansion among existing accounts where agent adoption has varied.
