Salesforce Announces Price Hikes, Changes to Product Packaging

Salesforce will ​increase ‌prices by 6% for Enterprise and Unlimited Editions of Sales cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and some Industries ‌clouds,⁢ effective August 1. ⁤The company is also ⁤revamping its​ product packaging.

Standalone AI add-ons and Einstein 1 Editions are being retired. Salesforce is moving toward bundled⁢ Agentforce plans, which range from $125 to $550 per user each month. Anish Krishnan, ⁣senior analyst at QKS Group, said this shift “risks being viewed as an upsell disguised as innovation” if the return on investment isn’t clear.

Slack’s Business+⁢ plan will increase by 20%, costing $15 per user monthly. Free-tier users will ‍gain access to Salesforce Channels. A new Enterprise+ plan will offer enterprise search, enhanced security, and admin controls.Tableau​ Next will include AI-powered analytics, and a new Prompt Builder will allow ⁢for custom interactions. The company ‍said Foundations,⁣ Starter, and Pro Editions will remain at the same price.
