Reality TV personality Sam thompson is on the verge of completing a grueling 260-mile journey to deliver the match ball for Soccer Aid 2025. The challenge, a mix of running and cycling, began in Chelsea and culminates at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium on Saturday, June 7.
Thompson’s trek started at Stamford Bridge in west London, the site of last year’s Soccer Aid charity game supporting Unicef. Along the way, Thompson ran through towns including sandbach, Middlewich, and Birkenhead, cheered on by local schoolchildren.
