NVIDIA has expanded its GeForce NOW cloud gaming library with the addition of four new titles, headlined by the debut release from independent developer Liquid Swords, Samson: A Tyndalston Story. The update allows users to stream high-fidelity gaming experiences across various devices without requiring the latest local hardware.
Samson: A Tyndalston Story is a narrative-driven action game set in the city of Tyndalston, a setting described as being built on debt, muscle, and memory. The plot follows Samson, a former enforcer who returns to the streets of his past, where the gameplay blends cinematic melee action with a choice-driven narrative progression.
The title emphasizes a visceral combat system where brawls are fast and close-quarters. In this environment, cars function as weapons rather than static set pieces, and the outcome of encounters is influenced by momentum, and terrain. The game’s narrative focuses on Samson’s internal conflict between redemption and vengeance.
Technical Specifications and Performance
To achieve its cinematic aesthetic, the game utilizes ray-traced global illumination, reflections, and shadows. Performance is further enhanced through NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, while NVIDIA Reflex technology is implemented to reduce latency, which is critical for the game’s split-second combat encounters.

Along with Morbid Metal, Samson: A Tyndalston Story is RTX 5080-ready, meaning it can be streamed using NVIDIA’s top-end hardware. However, some external reporting suggests the 1.0 version of the game has been met with technical challenges, with the studio head acknowledging the state of the game as unacceptable

Expanded Library and Hardware Support
The April 9, 2026, update introduces several other titles to the service. Morbid Metal, a hack-and-slash roguelike developed by Screen Juice and published by Ubisoft, has launched on Steam in early access and is also RTX 5080-ready.
The library also includes Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, a definitive collection available via Steam and Ubisoft. This edition features five versions of the game from various consoles, over 120 additional levels, and a documentary on the character’s creation.
DayZ became available on April 9 via Xbox and Game Pass. The service also updated Starfield to be RTX 5080-ready, coinciding with the release of the Free Lanes update and the Terran Armada DLC, as well as the game’s launch on PS5.
The full list of new additions and updates for the week includes:
- Samson: A Tyndalston Story (Steam, RTX 5080-ready)
- Morbid Metal (Steam Early Access, RTX 5080-ready)
- DayZ (Xbox/Game Pass)
- Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition (Steam/Ubisoft)
