Samsung Electronics has expanded its mid-range smartphone portfolio with the release of the Galaxy A26 5G. The device is positioned as an affordable entry in the Galaxy A series, balancing 5G connectivity with a large-format display and a versatile camera system.

The Galaxy A26 5G was first released on March 2, 2025, with broader regional availability beginning on March 19, 2025. It serves as the successor to the Galaxy A25 5G.

Technical Specifications and Hardware

The device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. For durability, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Under the hood, the hardware configuration varies by region. Most markets receive the Exynos 1380 chipset, which utilizes a 5nm process and an octa-core CPU consisting of four 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G58 MP5 GPU. The Latin American market is equipped with the Exynos 1280 chipset, featuring two 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and six 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores with a Mali-G58 GPU.

Memory and storage options include 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, with internal storage capacities of 128 GB or 256 GB. The device also supports expandable storage via a microSDXC slot.

Power is supplied by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The chassis measures 164 mm in height, 77.5 mm in width, and 7.7 mm in thickness, with a total weight of 200 g.

The Galaxy A26 5G utilizes a triple-lens rear camera array designed for a variety of shooting conditions:
