Samsung is preparing to launch its flagship Galaxy Tab S12 series tablets, with an official debut expected in September 2026. Leaks originating from device renders shared by Android Headlines and analyzed by Android Authority indicate that Samsung is sticking closely to the visual footprint of the preceding Galaxy Tab S11 lineup. Bezel thickness and overall front dimensions remain largely identical on the upcoming hardware. Notably, the top-tier Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra retains its display notch for the selfie camera array. This design choice puts to rest earlier rumors that suggested Samsung might transition to a punch-hole cutout, according to reporting by Android Headlines.

Android Authority noted that the leaked images resemble official marketing material rather than early CAD renders, offering a clear look at the front and partial back of the device, complete with an S Pen stylus. Both models will ship in standard Gray and Silver color choices, accompanied by a vibrant blue and purple gradient stock wallpaper featuring a stylized letter “S” embedded in the center, as detailed by Android Headlines.

Beneath the exterior, Samsung is implementing a major silicon shift across both models by adopting MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 processor, replacing previous-generation components, according to Android Headlines and Android Authority. The tablets will run on Samsung’s One UI 9 interface, with the manufacturer guaranteeing up to seven generations of Android OS upgrades alongside seven full years of security patches.

Display sizes and battery capacities remain generous across the board. Android Headlines reports that the Galaxy Tab S12+ features a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel working at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, paired with a 10,600mAh battery cell. Meanwhile, the larger Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra carries over a massive 14-inch AMOLED display and an 11,600mAh battery unit, matching the capacity of the previous generation as highlighted by Android Authority. Both models will come bundled with an S Pen stylus inside the retail box.
