Reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 series will feature display technology designed to reduce the visibility of the central crease, bringing its performance into alignment with the Oppo Find N6.

According to information available as of May 30, 2026, the crease control on the Z Fold8 series is expected to be as effective as the implementation found in the Oppo Find N6. Crease control refers to the engineering and material science used to minimize the visible and tactile indentation that occurs where a foldable screen bends.

Reducing the prominence of the crease is a primary technical objective for foldable smartphone manufacturers. A more seamless display improves visual continuity for the user and reduces the physical sensation of the fold during touch interactions.
