Tata harrier EV debuts Samsung Neo QLED Display

The Tata Harrier EV, launched Tuesday by India-based Tata Motors, is the first car to feature Samsung’s Neo QLED screen technology in its infotainment system. This follows a preview of the Ready Display lineup by Samsung-owned Harman Automotive at CES 2025.
neo QLED displays utilize mini LED backlighting and quantum dot technology. This combination creates deeper blacks, brighter images, and enhanced colors compared to standard LCD screens. The mini LED system allows for more precise local dimming.
In addition to the Samsung Neo QLED display, the Tata Harrier EV boasts a JBL audio system, also owned by Samsung, with 10 speakers and Dolby Atmos support. The electric SUV is available in two configurations.
The base model features a 65 kWh battery pack and a 238 HP electric motor powering the rear wheels. A higher-end version includes a 75 kWh battery, a 238 HP rear motor, and a 158 HP front motor. The starting price for the base variant is INR 2,149,000, or approximately $25,020.
