Samsung’s 2026 S95H QD-OLED television is generating significant buzz for its increased brightness, anti-burn-in technology and the integration of Art Mode, allowing it to function as a digital art display. The S95H, previewed at CES 2026, represents a major step forward in OLED technology, addressing previous concerns about image retention and expanding the television’s functionality beyond traditional viewing.

The S95H is reportedly up to 35% brighter than its predecessor, the S95F, while also incorporating Samsung’s Glare Free technology. This increased brightness, combined with the new anti-burn-in technology, allows for extended display of static images without distortion, making it a viable alternative to Samsung’s Frame TV. The ability to display static images for prolonged periods without image retention is a key differentiator for the S95H.

Art Mode and the Samsung Art Store

A significant feature of the S95H is its access to the Samsung Art Store, offering a selection of up to 5,000 images. This integration positions the S95H as a compelling option for consumers seeking a television that can also serve as a centerpiece for digital art. The Art Store is a subscription-based service, allowing users to regularly refresh their displayed artwork.

Design and Connectivity

The S95H features an all-metal frame, a departure from the previous model’s separate media connect box. It includes four HDMI inputs directly on the television, with the option to add a Wireless One Connect box for a total of up to eight inputs. This design change simplifies connectivity and offers greater flexibility for users with multiple devices. The TV is also designed for flush wall mounting using the Zero Gap Wall Mount.

Gaming Features

Samsung has equipped the S95H with features geared towards gamers, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) up to 165Hz, FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync, and the Samsung Game Bar. These features enhance the gaming experience by reducing screen tearing and improving responsiveness. The inclusion of these gaming technologies demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to catering to the growing gaming market.

Model Variations and Pricing

Samsung offers the S95H in various sizes, including 77-inch, 65-inch, 83-inch, and 55-inch models. As of April 2, 2026, pricing for the 77-inch model (QE77S99H in the UK, S95H in the US) is £4499. Pricing for the 83-inch and 55-inch models has not yet been announced. The S95H represents a premium investment, positioned above mid-range LCD televisions in terms of cost.

Competition

The S95H faces competition from other high-end OLED televisions, including Panasonic’s Z95B and LG’s G6 series. These competing models offer similar features and performance, creating a competitive landscape in the premium OLED television market. The S95H aims to differentiate itself through its increased brightness, anti-burn-in technology, and Art Mode integration.

Competition

QD-OLED Technology

The S95H utilizes Samsung’s QD-OLED technology, which employs Quantum Dots to deliver pure red, green, and blue color elements. This technology contributes to the television’s exceptional color accuracy and brightness capabilities. QD-OLED represents a significant advancement in OLED technology, offering improved color volume and brightness compared to traditional OLED displays.

S99H Model

Samsung also offers the S99H model, which carries the brand’s Art Store and Generative Wallpaper features. The S99H is unique among Samsung OLED TVs for these capabilities. The S99H kicks off Samsung’s 2026 flagship OLED TV range.

While pricing and availability details are still emerging, the Samsung S95H QD-OLED television is poised to be a leading contender in the premium television market, offering a compelling combination of performance, features, and design.
