San Diego will host⁤ the Rock ‘n’ Roll San ⁤Diego Marathon the first weekend of June, drawing an‍ estimated 30,000 runners to Balboa Park.⁢ The event includes a 5K, a half marathon, and a full ‍marathon.

The 5K⁢ race begins at ⁢7 a.m. Saturday in Balboa ⁢Park. The starting line is set for Presidents Way and Park Boulevard,⁢ with the finish line on Balboa Drive. Sixth Avenue will be closed from Hawthorne Street ⁣to Upas Street.

Sunday’s half marathon and marathon will both start at 6:15 a.m. The starting line is located at Sixth ⁣Avenue and quince Street in ⁤Balboa park, and the finish line is at Ash Street and ⁤Union Street. Significant⁣ traffic impacts are‍ anticipated from⁢ Mission Bay Park to fashion Valley, and from ⁢Friars Road to Golden Hill.

Road Closures
