The national ‌League Central ‍division ‌saw ‍exciting action this past Sunday,‌ with several ‍players making significant contributions. Let’s dive into the highlights, including a standout performance by⁤ a rising star and ⁢the potential arrival of‌ a promising talent to a Venezuelan powerhouse.

Farmer Delivers with Power and Consistency

Farmer had a stellar day at the plate, going 3-for-1 with ⁤his eighth home run of the season – a towering shot pulled for a score.⁣ The Maracay‌ native continues to⁢ impress, ‍boasting a .304 batting average over the ‍last seven games.his recent stats are‌ truly eye-catching:⁢ two home runs, six RBIs, three runs scored, and a robust.609 slugging ‍percentage. Farmer is quickly becoming⁣ a key offensive threat, and fantasy baseball owners are taking ⁣notice! He’s demonstrating the‌ power and consistency that made him a‌ highly-touted ⁤prospect.

The Cartcher also ⁣kicked off the scoring with a 407-foot⁣ blast to center field, setting the tone for‍ a productive day.

Will pedro pagés Join the Caracas Lions?

All signs point to ⁣a possible debut for Pedro Pagés with the Lions of Caracas ‍ in ‌the upcoming season⁤ of the Venezuelan ⁢Professional Baseball League (LVBP). Pagés ⁤was selected with⁣ the #4 overall pick in the LVBP draft by the melenudos (the Lions’ nickname) back in ‍December.

This would mark the 26-year-old⁢ catcher’s first experience in Venezuelan winter ball, and it’s ⁣a prospect that ‍excites fans. Pagés has⁤ already expressed his desire to ⁢play for Caracas, but ⁣his participation ⁣hinges on approval from his MLB organization.‌

Currently in his ‍second season in the Major Leagues, Pagés is hitting .211 with eight doubles, ⁢35 RBIs, 29 runs scored, 57‌ hits, and an OPS of .597 in 270‍ plate appearances. We’ll be watching closely to see if he ‍gets the⁢ green‍ light to join the⁤ Caracas Lions this winter!
