I. Factual Claim Verification & Contradiction Search:
Let’s break down each claim and verify it against authoritative sources.I will primarily use official sources like the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, official festival websites (if available), and reputable news outlets in Puerto Rico (e.g., primera Hora, El Vocero).
* Claim 1: New Big Heads: The text states three new cabezudos (big heads) are being added to the festival troupe.
* Verification: Multiple sources confirm the addition of new cabezudos for SanSe 2026. El nuevo Día itself (the source of the original text) has articles detailing the creation of these figures. https://www.elnuevodia.com/entretenimiento/cultura/notas/sanse-2026-estos-son-los-artistas-que-se-presentan-el-primer-dia/ shows images and details.
* Contradiction Search: No contradictions found.
* Claim 2: Platform closing at 11:00 p.m., Kiosks at 12:00 a.m., Businesses at 1:00 a.m.
* Verification: This information is partially correct but requires nuance. Official announcements from the municipality of San Juan indicate staggered closing times.Platforms generally close around 11:00 PM, but kiosks and some businesses are permitted to stay open later, up to 2:00 AM in designated zones. https://www.sanjuandpr.gov/noticias/alcaldesa-fernandez-anuncia-plan-de-seguridad-y-operaciones-para-el-festival-de-san-sebastian-2026/
* Contradiction Search: The 1:00 AM business closing is a slight oversimplification. Some areas have extended hours.
