Sanshui District launched a pilot program on March 15, opening three schools to the public for free use of their sports facilities. The first week of the program did not require appointments.
The initiative aims to better serve the community’s sports needs. During the initial week, access to the venues was granted on a first-come, first-served basis during specified opening hours.
Jianlibao Middle School, Southwest Street No. 4 Middle School, and Beijiang Primary School are participating in the pilot program. Basketball courts and track and field stadiums proved to be the most popular facilities.
