The Ministry of Product Development of Santa Fe and the National Ministry of Economy are organizing the first national Ronda de Negocios RIGI, scheduled for October 29 at the Estación Fluvial in Rosario, as reported by comercioexterior.org.ar and argentina.gob.ar. The event connects 28 major investor groups and project operators under the Régimen de Incentivo para Grandes Inversiones with domestic providers of goods, services, technology, and infrastructure.
Connecting Suppliers to Strategic Investments in Rosario
The October 29 gathering aims to bridge the gap between major capital projects and local supply chains. According to argentina.gob.ar, investments under the RIGI framework already impact the country extensively, with 86 percent of invested capital flowing to domestic companies and more than 1,200 suppliers currently serving approved initiatives. The upcoming meeting at the Estación Fluvial in Rosario brings together 28 companies with projects submitted under the RIGI, spanning approved initiatives and those currently under evaluation.
Target Sectors and Registration Deadlines
Participating sectors include mining operations, industrial production and technology, and infrastructure works that connect regions, as detailed by argentina.gob.ar. The event involves Single Project Vehicles (VPU), contractor firms, and anchor companies from each sector. Registration for the event closed in October, with buyers registering by October 8 to detail their purchasing needs and suppliers completing profiles by October 13 to allow officials to cross-reference demand with national offerings.

Technical Assistance and Integration Activities
Beyond scheduled business matchmaking rounds, the day features conferences and technical assistance spaces. Argentina.gob.ar reported that these sessions will be led by the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI), providing tools to help interested companies integrate effectively into corporate value chains. The participation itself carries no cost for attendees.
Unresolved Scheduling and Future Event Logistics
While official organizers established the October 29 date and the Rosario venue, detailed agendas outlining specific meeting schedules and panel timings remained pending in government releases ahead of the event. Organizers have not yet announced whether subsequent regional rounds will follow the Rosario launch or which specific supply contracts will reach final negotiation stages during the sessions.
