Santander International Festival Announces Early Ticket Sales for 74th Edition
SANTANDER, Spain – The Santander International Festival (FIS) is preparing for its 74th edition, scheduled to run from Aug. 1 to 31, 2025, with advanced ticket sales beginning May 16. The festival will offer a variety of subscription packages,individual tickets,and concerts,aiming to attract both seasoned attendees and new audiences.
Early Bird Subscriptions Available
Starting May 16, patrons can purchase general subscriptions, providing access to a wide range of performances throughout the festival. These subscriptions, priced from 235 euros, include all fifteen shows in the Argenta Room, offering a thorough festival experience.
Welcome Subscription for Newcomers
The FIS is also offering a “Welcome” subscription, designed for new audiences. This subscription, priced at 180 euros, provides access to the same programming as the general subscription but is limited to Zone D1 of the palace, with only 150 units available.
Thematic Subscriptions Cater to Diverse Tastes
Along with the general and welcome subscriptions, the festival offers thematic subscriptions focusing on specific genres and artists.These include:
- Orchestras: Featuring seven concerts, prices start at 162 euros.
- dance: Showcasing four performances, prices start at 68 euros.
- Soloists: Highlighting piano recitals and ensemble performances, prices start at 21 euros.
- Lyrical Universe: Presenting opera and zarzuela performances, prices start at 34 euros.
- Pereda Sala: A curated selection of four shows for 61 euros.
- Fertilizer <30: Aimed at audiences under 30, offering four events for 35 euros.
Combined subscriptions, including Baroque and Dance, Festival Sundays, and Closing subscriptions, will be available from June 5-11.
ticket Sales and Venue Information
The festival box office has moved to the Plaza de Velarde, also known as the Porticada Square, a location with past importance for the FIS.The box office will be open Tuesday to Saturday,from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased online and via telephone.
Accessibility
The festival offers free access to people with disabilities who use wheelchairs, with companions able to purchase tickets at reduced prices for designated areas.
Individual Tickets and Historical Landmarks Concerts
Individual tickets and tickets for concerts held in historical landmarks will go on sale starting June 18. Tickets for historical landmark concerts can also be purchased at the venue one hour before the start of the performance, subject to availability and cash payment only.
Organ concerts on Aug. 10 in Torrelavega and Aug. 20 in Castro-Urdiales, organized in collaboration with the Association for the Conservation of the Organs of Cantabria (ACOCA), will be free of charge until capacity is reached.
