Sarajevo Canton Police Get High-Tech Boost: State-of-the-Art Computers and Servers at Unbeatable Prices
Ministry of Internal Affairs Sarajevo Canton Enhances IT Capabilities
The Ministry of Internal Affairs Sarajevo Canton has received a significant boost in its IT capabilities through a project worth over half a million convertible marks, funded by the European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project has provided the Ministry with state-of-the-art IT equipment, including 60 brand-new computers of the latest generation, 5 new servers, network equipment, and cameras to strengthen the surveillance system. This equipment will be distributed to the organizational units of the Police Administration, enhancing their ability to work efficiently.
In addition to the new equipment, the project also included professional training for all employees of the Informatics Sector of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the Police Ministry. This training aims to provide information and technical support to other employees, ensuring they can effectively utilize the new equipment and systems.
According to Minister Admir Katica, “We are committed to strengthening our police force by providing them with modern technical and IT equipment. This project will enable our police to work more efficiently, while also increasing the level of security of our server environment, protecting against external intrusions, and enhancing our infrastructure. The new forensic server will also play a crucial role in raising the security level of our data and the security of our citizens.”
