Aamir Khan Confirms ‘Sarfarosh’ Sequel in Production

A sequel to the 1999 hit film, Sarfarosh 2, is officially in the works, according to Aamir Khan.The original movie,starring Khan and Sonali Bendre,remains a favorite among audiences.
Khan emphasized the need for a compelling script before moving forward with the Sarfarosh sequel.He believes that sequels should only be pursued when there’s a genuine and compelling reason to revisit the story.
Directed by john Matthew Matthan, the original Sarfarosh film garnered both critical acclaim and box office success. Khan played ACP Ajay Singh Rathod,a Mumbai police officer battling cross-border terrorism.
“Sarfarosh 2 pe abhi kaam chal raha hai. Unless the script comes out really well, it is indeed really unfair to go ahead,” Khan said at the Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit.
