Saud Saleh Fires Back at Ilham Shaheen: ‘Still Struggling with Good Behavior at Your Age
Dr. Saud Saleh Responds to Ilham Shaheen’s Statement on Prayer and Work
Dr. Saud Saleh, Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence at Al-Azhar University, has responded to artist Ilham Shaheen’s statement about prayer and ways to leave work to pray.
Saud Saleh expressed his surprise at Ilham Shaheen’s statement, saying, ”I am surprised by the statement that when a person undertakes to obey God and pray because a person is not guaranteed his life, we all know that life is in the hands of God is considered a mockery and mockery.”
Saud Saleh continued, “I say to the author of this saying, how old are you now, and you are still far from the etiquette that our Lord explained, meaning, and you have no right to belittle anyone who performs it. It is fixed. Obedience And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will enter Paradise, and on the contrary there are those who disobey Allah and His Messenger saying, ‘And these are the limits of Allah.'”

Regarding Ilham Shaheen’s clarification that the doctor does not leave his work during prayers, Saud Saleh said, “Is it normal for me to make a comparison between the doctor who stands and operates and the director who is filming and taking roles?”
Ilham Shaheen had previously stated that he worked with a director who became suddenly pious and would leave his work to pray, causing disruption to the filming process.
Ilham Shaheen added, “The scene is over and you pray in your house, but we have never seen such a change in society.”

He continued, “We are not against everyone practicing their religious rituals, as long as it does not conflict with your work. Do not stop work because it is time for prayer.”
Ilham Shaheen’s latest work is his participation in the series “Fredo”, which is based on the book “55 Love Problems” by Mustafa Mahmud.
