Dubai Police have issued an official statement regarding the accident involving Saudi football player Fahd Al-Mawlid, stating that the investigation is ongoing. According to the authorities, the accident occurred while Al-Mawlid was on the balcony, and the results of the investigation will be shared once completed.
Saudi Consulate Statement on Fahd Al-Mawlid’s Accident
The Saudi Consulate released a statement on its official Twitter account, saying, “We have received a report on the accident involving player Fahd Al-Mawlid. The Consulate General is coordinating with the Government of Dubai and Dubai Police General Command to ensure the player receives proper medical care under the direct supervision of the UAE’s medical team and the Consul General of Dubai.”
The consulate added that they are closely following up on the investigation with the Dubai Police General Command and would like to clarify that the player’s health status is being closely monitored.

Fahd Al-Muwalad, a close friend of the player, shared his account of the incident in a press interview. “I suddenly realized he was not at home, so I searched for him everywhere inside the house and found him under the balcony. I immediately informed the police,” he said.

Fahd Al-Mawlid was born on September 14, 1994, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He began his football career with the Saudi Jeddah Al-Ittihad team and spent most of his sporting career with this team until 2022.
Al-Mawlid won three championships with Al-Ittihad, including the Saudi Cup and Crown Prince Cup, and moved to Al-Shabaab in August 2022. He has featured in 38 matches with them so far and has played 74 international matches, scoring 17 goals.
