Riyadh ⁢- The saudi Arabian government has strongly condemned Israel’s plan to double its ⁤population in the Golan Heights, a Syrian territory occupied by Israel for decades. Riyadh called the move a‍ “sabotage” of Syrian sovereignty adn stability.

In a statement released on Monday, the Saudi ‍Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its “condemnation and denunciation” of the Israeli plan, which was announced by⁢ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ⁣on Sunday. The ministry characterized the plan as part of Israel’s “ongoing sabotage of opportunities to restore security and stability in Syria” ⁢following the recent overthrow of President ‍Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
