As of​ early February ⁤2026,Saudi⁣ Arabia has officially replaced its customary residency permit (Iqama) system with a fully digital identity for expatriates called “Muqeem.” This​ impacts over 12.6 million residents.

What is Muqeem?

How to Access your Muqeem ID

  1. Register/Login to Absher: Ensure you have an active Absher account. If not, register through the Absher website (https://absher.sa/) or app.
  2. Verify ​Your Identity: ⁢ Follow the prompts within Absher to verify​ your identity.
  3. Access Muqeem Information: Once verified, your Muqeem details,⁣ including residency status, expiration date, and profession,⁣ will be available within the absher app and on the​ Digital Government portal.
