Al-Hilal secured its fourth straight win in the Saudi Professional League, defeating Al-Ittihad 3-1 and leading with 12 points after the fourth round of the competition with full marks.

Both teams entered the match aiming to continue their perfect start to the Roshan League and claim their fourth victory in the competition. Al-Ittihad had previously won against Al-Kholud, Al-Tawun, and Al-Wahda, while Al-Hilal had won against Al-Akhdoud, Damak, and Al-Riyadh.
