Saudi Artists Dalia Mubarak and Ayed Youssef Engage in Public Feud
A public spat between Saudi artists Dalia Mubarak and Ayed Youssef has escalated, with both artists exchanging heated comments on social media.
Ayed Youssef recently posted a blog on the “X” website, accusing Dalia Mubarak of “dependency.” Youssef stated, “As long as my name is mentioned directly, for me it is something that I will not allow, and if the person thinks that he is being open, then unfortunately it is (rude, disrespectful and far from candor and) realism.”
Dalia Mubarak responded to Youssef’s post, saying, “I could have chosen a style of jabbering from the bottom up and the gossip and jabbering that others use is too good for me to be honest, and if I have something to say openly it’s for me. Very good and good night.”
The controversy began when Mubarak opened the door to questions for his followers, in which he answered one of them about an artistic work that united him with Youssef, saying, “With Ayed, it will not happen and it will never happen, God’s will, and close In collaboration, God willing with artist Sultan Al-Murshid.”
Youssef was quick to respond, commenting sarcastically, “Every day you prove that you are creative, and God willing, your creativity even reaches the response, Najma, and I hope your next album will be like your last album.”
Dalia Mubarak answered him in the same way, “Indeed, nothing comes after your creativity whenever you prove your good intentions towards your quarter, and God willing, I wish you success, and God willing, He will give you measure. your intention.”
Mubarak later tweeted, “I heard you and I am amazed by your work.”
