Cooking Recipe Book Grand Prize!! As a cooking lover, I look at the special features shelves of bookstores with excitement every year, but I never thought I would receive an award like this! And a double winner!?…I wrote this book hoping to spread the deliciousness of Chinese home cooking to more people in Japan, and it has been received by more people than I expected, so I am overjoyed to have received such a wonderful award. I would be happy if people who think Chinese cooking is difficult, troublesome, and greasy would pick up this book.

A Chinese food lover and drinker. A quarter century after first falling in love with authentic Chinese food in China, he has made it his life’s work to travel around China and try different dishes. He was stationed in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai for 10 years before returning to Japan in 2019.
