Taiwan Tourism Appoints Satoshi Tsumabuki as Japan Market Spokesperson

(Central News Agency reporter Wang Shufen, Taipei, 4th) The Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transport announced today that it has invited Japanese idol Satoshi Sumabuki to serve as Taiwan’s tourism spokesperson in the Japanese market in 2024-2025.

In the afternoon, the Department of Tourism held a media meeting for Japan Market and Taiwan Tourism Spokesman Satoshi Tsumabuki, who is known as Japan’s national god, served as the Taiwan Tourism Japan Market Spokesperson for the first time. At the press conference, Satoshi Tsumabuki said that he has been to Taiwan more than 10 times and wants to stay in Taiwan because every time he comes, he will be warmly welcomed by Taiwanese friends. Host Tsumabuki asked Satoshi what he would recommend as the best experience for Japanese tourists in Taiwan. He recommends that Japanese tourists who come to Taiwan must taste the food eaten by the local people.

Satsuki Tsumabuki also mentioned that he came to Taiwan to shoot in many places and made tea in Alishan and ate tea in the mountains, which left a deep impression on his mind. In addition, he personally drove a boat to Sun Moon Lake to enjoy the amazing lake scenery and experience shrimp fishing in Ilan to enjoy the entertainment of the common people.
