Recipe: Sauteed Pork with Peach Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 pork loins
- 100g peach
- 100g onion
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- A pinch of salt
- A little pepper
- Garlic powder
- Cooking sake
- Salad oil or rice oil
Instructions
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides of the pork to let the flavors blend together.
- Cut the onion and peach into small pieces (it is recommended to cut the peach into large pieces).
- Add oil to a frying pan, sprinkle a little salt, and fry the onions over low heat until they are soft, then add the peaches and continue frying.
- Once the peaches are cooked, add cooking sake and soy sauce and stir fry until the alcohol has evaporated.
- Remove the sauce from the frying pan and fry the pork.
- Once the pork is browned on both sides, add about 2 tablespoons of water or sake, cover and steam.
- Remove the pork and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the peach sauce to the frying pan that the meat was cooked in, soak up the meat juices, top with the meat, and serve.
