Recipe: Sauteed Pork with Peach Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 pork loins
  • 100g peach
  • 100g onion
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • A pinch of salt
  • A little pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Cooking sake
  • Salad oil or rice oil

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides of the pork to let the flavors blend together.
  2. Cut the onion and peach into small pieces (it is recommended to cut the peach into large pieces).
  3. Add oil to a frying pan, sprinkle a little salt, and fry the onions over low heat until they are soft, then add the peaches and continue frying.
  4. Once the peaches are cooked, add cooking sake and soy sauce and stir fry until the alcohol has evaporated.
  5. Remove the sauce from the frying pan and fry the pork.
  6. Once the pork is browned on both sides, add about 2 tablespoons of water or sake, cover and steam.
  7. Remove the pork and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Add the peach sauce to the frying pan that the meat was cooked in, soak up the meat juices, top with the meat, and serve.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with mashed cauliflower and broccoli, and whole grain raisin bread for a nutritious and delicious meal.
