Gastronomic Schools Competition: A Celebration of Colombian Cuisine

A cooking competition with top level sponsors and an entrepreneurship fair.

The Corporation of the University of Comfacauca (Unicomfacauca), through its Gastronomic Management Technology program, accredited in High Quality, is holding the fourth edition of its traditional Gastronomic Schools Competition on September 5.

This event will bring together the Technological University of Pereira, the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, the Agustiniana University of Bogotá, the Western Gastronomic School of Cali and, of course, the talent of Unicomfacauca, in a challenge to prepare the two main Colombian meals, using four specific ingredients.

This year, the fourth edition of the Unicomfacauca Gastronomic Schools Competition will have the following sponsors: Porkcolombia; Cauca Family Compensation Fund (Comfacauca), Hostal Campestre Comfacauca, Indestek, Linda Ospino, Il Gallo, Volcano and Colombina del Cauca.

Along with the competition, Unicomfacauca will host a large Entrepreneurship Fair that will give space to students and graduates of the University, as well as people from outside, all of them with their business ideas focused on gastronomy, continuing with the line of this annual event.

To witness this great culinary challenge, the Competition will be held at the Unicomfacauca headquarters, located at Calle 4 #8-30 B/Centro, or via Facebook Live, at 10:00 am

The award ceremony will be held on Friday, September 6, on the Llwhaan o Blas a Informação, at 9:00 am in Caldas Park, within the framework of the Popayán Gastronomic Congress, where the winning school will prepare its signature meal live.
