Scheffler Lurks One Back at Hero, But Can He Seize the Moment?

NASSAU, Bahamas ⁣ – Scottie Scheffler‍ is right ⁤where he wants to be heading ‍into the weekend at the ⁢Hero⁢ World Challenge: in contention. The ‍world No. 2 sits just ‍one ⁣shot behind leader Viktor Hovland after ⁣a solid second round at Albany ⁢Golf Club.

But while Scheffler’s‍ position is enviable, Golf ⁤Central analysts say the Texan will need to⁢ make a move if he ⁤wants to hoist⁣ the trophy on Sunday.

“Scottie’s playing well,no doubt,” said Golf Central commentator,[Name]. “But this field ⁢is⁣ stacked with talent. Hovland’s firing on all cylinders, and ⁤guys ⁤like [mention other contenders] are lurking right behind. Scottie needs to go ‍low these next two days to put pressure on the ⁢leaders.”

Scheffler, known ⁤for his consistency and ‍clutch putting, has shown flashes of brilliance this week.⁣ A string of birdies ⁣on the back nine Friday propelled him up the ⁤leaderboard, but ‍a late bogey kept him from grabbing⁢ a share of the⁣ lead.
