NEW YORK-Clarke ⁣Schmidt nearly achieved pitching greatness Saturday,​ tossing seven no-hit​ innings as the New York‍ Yankees cruised to a 9-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees’ pitching performance ‍limited Baltimore to a ⁤single hit.
