Doctor Attacked by Mother in Hospital

A disturbing incident occurred at a hospital when a mother, identified as FES, attacked a doctor, Specialist AAA, in the pediatric health and disease clinic.

According to reports, FES had previously taken her child to the hospital for treatment and had been dissatisfied with the care provided. She claimed that her child’s arm had been broken during treatment and was not properly addressed.

FES entered the doctor’s room, locked the door, and began arguing with Specialist AAA. The situation escalated, and FES attacked the doctor with scissors and a kettle from the room.

Security guards intervened, opening the door to the room and taking FES under control. The hospital police were called to the scene after the “Code White” button was pressed.

The doctor suffered injuries to 12 areas of her body, including her head, face, back, and neck. She received first aid in the hospital’s emergency room and was treated for her injuries.

FES was processed at the police station and released on condition of judicial control. However, the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate opposed the decision, and the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office also filed an objection.

The incident was captured on security cameras, which recorded the events that unfolded in the hospital corridors after the attack.
