Scotland recovered from a previous defeat to Nepal with a strong performance against⁤ the ⁤Netherlands, ⁣securing a 44-run victory in ⁤their Cricket World Cup League 2 match‍ in Dundee. After being put in to bat, Scotland faced early setbacks, falling to 97-6.

finlay McCreath’s impressive innings of 81 runs off​ 106 balls helped⁣ stabilize the innings. He partnered with Mark Watt, who contributed 60 runs ​from 72 deliveries,⁤ forming ‌a crucial 91-run partnership for​ the seventh wicket. Safyaan Sharif added a quickfire 36 not out, boosting Scotland’s ⁣total to ‌262-9 in their ‌50 overs.

Brandon McMullen’s two early wickets gave Scotland a⁤ strong start ⁢in‌ the second innings, and the Netherlands struggled to build momentum, losing wickets consistently.
